Design Intention
The design evolved while we were studying the typology and patterns of the homesteads in Tapola village and how the plinths shaped their houses and created boundaries, along with courtyards that acted as an extension of the house.
The intent was based on how stairs are wrapping around the room and midlandings emerges to form different spaces.
